Applicants must hold a strong master’s degree or diploma in physics and demonstrate research experience, ideally in areas like scintillators, gaseous or semiconductor detectors, or electronics. Application Process
In order to apply for this funding program, applicants must complete the online application form at the university.
Interested candidates must submit the following documents in a single PDF:
- A detailed curriculum vitae.
- A motivation letter describing their interest in the research group, research preferences, and prior experiences.
- Scans of university degrees and transcripts (in German or English).
- Proof of English proficiency for candidates from non-English or non-German teaching universities (certificate no older than three years).
Additionally, applicants must arrange for two signed letters of recommendation to be emailed separately by referees. At least one referee must be from a different institution than the applicant’s current one.
