The University of Copenhagen is inviting applications for a PhD Fellowship in Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage, starting March 2026. This exciting opportunity, funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, focuses on advancing research on carbon dynamics, ecosystem–technosphere interactions, and climate mitigation.
Eligible applicants must hold a relevant master’s degree equivalent to a Danish MSc and demonstrate strong interdisciplinary interest in ecology, forestry, or energy systems. They should have experience in systems thinking, quantitative modelling, and carbon or GHG analysis, along with familiarity or willingness to work with Python.
