Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology is an interdisciplinary graduate programme at the University of Konstanz, jointly offered by the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, and Computer & Information Science, and is supported by the German Excellence Initiative.
The Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology provides a research-driven doctoral education in the priority topics Synthetic Chemistry, Cellular Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biomedicine and Computational Life Science. The individually tailored training programme and the intensive supervision by an interdisciplinary thesis committee are the basic elements for the excellent educational standards of the graduate school.
The Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology invites applications for Fellowships for PhD Students from highly motivated and enthusiastic young researchers with a keen interest in interdisciplinary topics and with an excellent degree (Master or Diploma) in Biology, Chemistry, Computational Life Science, or related areas.
The current call offers stipends granted by the DAAD (Graduate School Scholarship Programme, GSSP) with individual starting dates from April 2017 onwards. At the time of application, applicants should not have stayed more than 15 months in Germany.
