Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all international students.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any ocean-related field offered by the Oceans Graduate School, including oceanography, hydrodynamics, offshore geotechnical engineering, coastal engineering, marine geoscience, and marine ecology.
  • Admissible Criteria:
    • Applicants must hold a master’s or honours degree with a final result of first-class honours (WAM of 80+ or HD).
    • Applicants must secure supervision from an academic staff member within the Oceans Graduate School.
    • Applications must be received before the closing date for the school to consider them for the scholarship.

The scholarship offers a stipend of AUD $37,500 to support successful candidates pursuing PhD or MPhil programs at UWA.
