Australian National University is pleased to announce its PhB Science funding for the academic year 2020-2021. The educational program is exclusively open for both domestic and international students.

The purpose of the award is to provide support to PhB Science students from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or to assist PhB Science students in relocation costs to support their moving to Canberra.

PhB Science funding for International Students at Australian National University, 2020 for Bachelor Established in 1946, Australian National University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Canberra (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Australian Capital Territory. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, Australian National University (ANU) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Australian National University (ANU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 73 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours)-Science or the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours)-Science/Bachelor of Science (Honours) ANU-NUS joint degree program.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible for the opportunity, applicants must have a previous year degree.

Offered Benefits

The program offers a stipend of $6,500 paid in equal instalments in the first year of study to domestic and international students.

  • How to Apply: To be considered for the opportunity , applicants must take admission in the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) – Science or Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) / Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the Australian National University. Students who are not applying via ASA must submit their application and all supporting documentation to phb.science.enquiries-at-anu.edu.au.
  • Supporting Documents: Must provide academic records, official ID like a birth certificate, citizenship documents, passport, and statement addressing how they meet the eligibility criteria. For complete documentation requirements click here.
