The University of Newcastle is pleased to announce the Phare Trust PhD in Regional and Disadvantaged Community Health Scholarships, supporting outstanding candidates dedicated to improving health outcomes in disadvantaged regional communities.
Eligibility for this scholarship requires applicants to be enrolled full-time in a PhD program at the University of Newcastle and committed to research that improves health outcomes in regional disadvantaged communities, particularly in the Hunter Region. Candidates must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or full-fee paying international students, and must not hold any other donor-funded or sponsored scholarship from the university.
