The Pet Food Association of Canada (PFAC) is pleased to offer the Pet Food Association of Canada Martha ‘Marty’Wilder Honourary Scholarship to university graduate students pursuing studies in a field that can be applied to any aspect of the pet food industry.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate student, studying in Canada
  • Studying and/or performing research in a field or area that can be applied to the pet food industry
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Able to attend a PFAC event or meeting to present your work (flexibility exists)
  • Completed application form and completed application process steps
  • Applicants are not eligible if they are currently employed by a PFAC member

Incentive for Application:

Applicants who meet all outlined criteria will be eligible for a complimentary registration to our Annual Conference in 2025.

Offered Benefits

  • This is awarded annually to one recipient in the amount of $5000 CAD. 
  • Please note: This incentive covers registration fees exclusively and does not extend to travel, lodging, or any incidental expenses.

Application Process

Please submit all completed application packages between February 1 and June 1, 2025 to with the subject line of PFAC Scholarship 2025 .
