Paulette Carson Scholarships in Australia for Bachelor Founded in 1991, Edith Cowan University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Joondalup (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Western Australia. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens, and international students.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts (Dance) at ECU.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
    • Have completed the Advanced Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) at WAAPA.
    • Be in the first year of the ECU Bachelor of Arts (Dance) (Course Code: T73).
    • Be enrolled full-time (60 credit points or equivalent).
    • Maintain an academic progression status of GREEN.
    • Not be in receipt of a substantial scholarship over $5,000.

Offered Benefits

  • The scholarship provides financial support of up to $8,333.
  • Three scholarships are available.

Application Process

  • Applications must be submitted through the ECU Online Scholarship Application Portal, available between the opening and closing dates.
  • Applicants must provide a personal statement (maximum 500 words) detailing their financial circumstances and how the scholarship would benefit them.

Selection Process

  • Applications will be reviewed by a Selection Committee.
  • Selection is based on:
    • The content of the personal statement.
    • Academic performance from previous years.
