The Oyo State Scholarship Board has over the years done retrospectively and creditably well in giving financial assistance to students of Oyo State indigeneship in all public tertiary institutions.
The Oyo State Bursary Award aims to assist indigent but brilliant Oyo State Students financially to alleviate their financial burdens in all tertiary institutions nationwide and abroad.

The Oyo State Bursary Award provides a cash prize of N100,000.00 to selected eligible students studying in tertiary institutions all over the country.
Application Process
Go to Oyo State Government on app.bursary.oyostate.gov.ng to apply
- Before you apply ensure you have Scanned copy of your Letter of Admission, Local Government Identification, Current Course registration Form endorsed by your Head of Department (H.O.D), Passport photograph
- Create an Application: By Clicking on the Apply now Button , you will be directed to the application form
- Provide all the information and documents required during the application process
- Submit and Print out: Upon supplying correctly all the required information, you click on the submit button to finalize your application after which you are required to print out and Keep the application Submission Confirmation, which will contain important details such as application number which you would need later to check for the status of your application
- As soon as applications have been reviewed and accessed, Recipients of the Bursary will be Announced and Status can be checked on the this portal. After which recipients will then receive their awards to their provided details
