Istanbul Aydin University, in collaboration with UNESCO OWSD are providing fully-funded scholarships to displaced women, enabling them to pursue master’s degree programs in Türkiye.

To be eligible for the OWSD WISDOM Scholarships, applicants must be displaced women scientists who have sought refuge due to conflicts, violence, human rights violations, or climate change. They must intend to pursue a master’s degree in natural sciences, engineering, or information and technology sciences at Istanbul Aydin University. Additionally, candidates must meet the academic and admission requirements of the university’s master’s programs.Applications close: 8th August 2024

OWSD WISDOM Scholarships in Turkey for Master Established in 2007, Istanbul Aydin Üniversitesi (Istanbul Aydin University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the metropolis of Istanbul (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Istanbul Aydin Üniversitesi is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 35,000-39,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Istanbul Aydin Üniversitesi offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Any country (must be a displaced woman scientist)
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Master’s degrees in natural sciences, engineering, or information and technology sciences
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Be a displaced woman scientist seeking refuge due to conflict, violence, human rights violations, or climate change
  • Meet the academic and admission requirements of the master’s programs at Istanbul Aydin University.
