Application Process
The application process for the Early Career Researcher Funding programme consists of two steps:
- Step 1: Call for Projects (April 8 – April 30):
- Open call for project proposals from New Zealand universities and research providers.
- Projects must focus on agricultural greenhouse gas emissions reduction and may adopt either a science or M?ori research approach.
- Evaluation criteria include capability development, research impact, and excellence.
- Step 2: Call for Applicants (June 1 – June 30):
- Following the selection of projects, the NZAGRC will initiate an applicant selection process.
- This process includes advertising positions, short-listing candidates, and conducting candidate interviews.
- Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply based on the specific criteria for PhD scholarships or post-doctoral fellowships.
