Novo Nordisk Foundation Mads Øvlisen International Postdoctoral Fellowships in Denmark Founded in 1887, Clark University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Worcester (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Massachusetts. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Clark University (CU) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Clark University (CU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. The admission rate range is 50-60% making this US higher education organization a averagely selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries:  Students from Denmark and other foreign countries can apply. 
  • Eligible Course or Subjects:  Postdoctoral positions at any Danish university, museum, or educational institute in art history, practice-based research, and art & natural sciences can be applied for. 
  • Eligibility Criteria:  To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be anchored at a university, museum, or other knowledge institution (administrating host institution) in Denmark. 

Offered Benefits

The Novo Nordisk Foundation will award the five successfully selected candidates a fellowship award of DKK 1.5 million to cover expenses such as salary, operational costs, travel costs, and administrative support.
