NOvA and DUNE Neutrino Oscillations International PhD Studentship at University of Sussex, UK for Master Established in 1961, University of Sussex is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the large town of Brighton (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South East England. Offered Benefits

The scholars will receive all the following benefits:

  • Fully funded tuition fees for 3.5 years (at the UK/EU rate)
  • A tax-free bursary for living costs for 3.5 years. For 2019/20 this is £15,009 per annum.
  • Funds for computing, books open access publishing, attendance at conferences and workshops.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The candidates are required to take admission in a PhD degree program at the university. Thereafter, they should apply through the online application form.
  • Supporting Documents: A research proposal/personal statement which describes your suitability for the project, 2 academic references and your transcripts from any previously obtained degrees. If you have not yet completed your undergraduate degree, you can provide an interim transcript or record of any marks obtained so far.
  • Admission Requirements: You’re normally expected to have a Merit (an average of 60% overall) in a Masters degree OR an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree.
  • Language Requirement: The participants should be very proficient in the English language.
