Non-Resident and International Student Awards in USA for Bachelor


State University of New York College at Oneonta is pleased to announce the Non-Resident and International Student Awards to provide students an opportunity to study in the USA. The award programme has been held for the academic year 2022-2023.

Students can apply to receive this award worth $8,000 per year to cover the cost of any undergraduate programme of their choice undertaken at SUNY Oneonta. Out-of-state and international students are eligible.

Non-Resident and International Student Awards in USA for Bachelor Founded in 1890, York College is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the rural setting of the small town of York (population range of 2,500-9,999 inhabitants), Nebraska. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Learning Commission, York College (YC) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 500-999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Restorationist religion. York College (YC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 129 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Students from foreign countries and out-of-state regions are all eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate programmes at SUNY Oneonta can be applied for.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be first-year or transfer students outside of New York State.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Students can either go via the Common Application process or the SUNY Application process to submit an admission application. Students interested in applying for the scholarship are advised to submit their FAFSA Application.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Official high school transcript or results
  • One letter of recommendation from a school counselor or teacher
  • Admission Requirements: Students applying will need a grade-point average of at least 3.0, or they must rank in the top 30 percent of their high school graduating class to secure a seat at SUNY Oneonta.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL – 75
  • IELTS – 6.0
  • iTEP – 3.7
  • ELS – 112
