NLUD-SOAS Joint LLM/MA Bursary Awards for Overseas Students in UK


SOAS University of London and National Law University Delhi are excited to announce the availability of two bursary awards for the 2024/25 academic year, supporting students enrolling in the Joint LLM/MA in Environmental Justice in South Asia.

The scholarship aims to promote higher education accessibility and foster future leaders in environmental justice, open to both Home and Overseas fee status students. Eligibility criteria include holding a minimum 2:1 bachelor’s degree, with priority given to those with first-class honours.SOAS University of London is a public research university located in the Bloomsbury area of central London. Founded in 1916, it is a member institution of the federal University of London and is known for its expertise in the study of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The university is divided into three faculties: Arts and Humanities, Languages and Cultures, and Law and Social Sciences, offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

NLUD-SOAS Joint LLM/MA Bursary Awards for Overseas Students in UK Established in 1916, SOAS, University of London is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of London (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, SOAS, University of London (SOAS) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. SOAS, University of London (SOAS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: UK/ EU and Overseas
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for the Joint LLM/MA in Environmental Justice in South Asia.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet all the following criteria:
    • Must hold a minimum 2:1 bachelor’s degree. Priority may be given to applicants with a first-class honours degree or equivalent.
    • Must have applied to SOAS for the Joint LLM/MA in Environmental Justice in South Asia, though an offer of admission is not required by the scholarship deadline. An unconditional offer must be received by the time the scholarship panel meets.
    • The scholarship does not cover funding for pre-sessional courses.
