New Jersey Institute of Technology is pleased to offer Merit-Based Scholarships in the USA. The grant is open to all international students for the academic year 2021-2022.

All international students who have proven to be academically excellent are eligible to apply for this application towards any undergraduate programme they desire to undertake at NJIT. The sponsorship will cover the programme.

NJIT International Merit-Based Scholarships in USA for Bachelor Established in 1881, New Jersey Institute of Technology is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Newark (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), New Jersey. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 138 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. Offered Benefits

The winners of this merit-based support will receive monetary support to cover the cost of their undergraduate studies at NJIT for as long as 4 years in the USA.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Applicants are required to apply to NJIT using the official online platform of the university. Students that deem eligible for the opportunity are considered.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Academic preparation
  • Personal essay
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Portfolio
  • Photocopy of passport
  • Official high school
  • Admission Requirements: The students must be in the top 25% of their class or have a 3.0 GPA or higher to be the equivalent.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:

  • TOEFL CBT – 213
  • IELTS – 6.0
