University of Regina Groome Family Fellowship in Health Research 2025 Established in 1911, University of Regina is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Regina (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Saskatchewan. This 108 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. Eligibility Criteria

  • Presented annually to a Master's or Doctoral student in a Kinesiology and Health Studies program who meets the following criteria:
  • Entering or continuing student, and must be enrolled full-time during the tenure of the fellowship;
  • Has a minimum CGPA (cumulative grade point average) of 80%; and
  • Developing, or has developed a project that is specific to health, wellness and/or lifestyle issues which set goals capable of having a tangible impact in a reasonable period of time.
  • If a suitable candidate is not identified in a Kinesiology and Health Studies graduate program, applications from graduate students enrolled in other programs will be considered.
  • Students who have received other awards are eligible.
