National Institute of Professional Engineers & Scientist (NIPES) Scholarship Programme, in collaboration with Chinwe Chinonso Iwuanyanwu (Fellow, NIPES), is proud to announce a 1,000,000 Naira scholarship for aspiring engineers, scientists, medical doctors, pharmacists, and students pursuing related fields of study.
At NIPES, we are dedicated to fostering talent, encouraging academic excellence, and promoting inclusivity in engineering and science on a global scale.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited higher institution.
- Studying science or engineering-related courses.
- Open to students in 100-level and above.
- Mandatory: Applicants must complete at least two free NIPES online course and explain the skills learned in their personal statement
Priority Consideration:
NIPES student members will be given priority in the selection process. Non-members are encouraged to join NIPES to enhance their chances of selection.

Application Process
As part of the application process, you are required to enroll in and complete one of NIPES’s free online courses. These courses are designed to develop practical skills and creative thinking. Upon completing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion, which you must reference in your personal statement.
The application process is in 3 stages as follows:
- Register on the NIPES website as a student member (for non-members) here
- Complete a free NIPES online course of your choice here.
- Submit your personal statement (1000 words), explaining the skills you learned from the course and how they apply to your academic or career goals here. NB. Provide proof of enrollment and student ID and Include your NIPES membership number (if applicable).
