Offered Benefits

The studentship award includes fees and an annual tax-free stipend of £16,000. This award will fund tuition fees to the value of home fees; students with overseas status are welcome to apply but will be required to confirm that they can fund the remainder of their fees from alternative sources.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The students must enroll themselves in the university using the online application portal and completing the application process.

  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must have a first degree in a discipline relevant to primary care research and will be expected to complete a PhD/DPhil during the award period.
  • Language Requirement: The applicants are required to have the below-specified scores in the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS – 6.0 to 6.5
  • PTE – 55 to 68
  • TOEFL IBT – 79 to 100
  • CAE – 169 to 190
