Benefits of NBF Undergraduate Scholarship
The NBF Undergraduate Scholarship Program (NBF-USP) was created to alleviate the financial burden on students pursuing a higher education and help them nurture their potential as they demonstrate academic excellence, leadership qualities, and a commitment to community service.
Requirements for NBF Undergraduate Scholarship
You must submit the following:
- A 500-word essay detailing your personal journey, accomplishments, and future aspirations. Include your contact details (phone number, email address) at the end of your essay.
- Results from the past semester(s) or your Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
- Three reference letters from individuals of reputable standing, such as religious leaders, mentors, teachers, or guidance counsellors.
- A valid means of Identification (e.g. National ID Card, Student ID Card).
For newly admitted students:
This scholarship presents an incredible opportunity to kickstart your academic journey on a strong footing. Eligible applicants must submit:
- A 500-word essay showcasing your passion, interests, and reasons for pursuing your chosen degree. Include your contact details (phone number, email address) at the end of your essay.
Application Documents
- Results from your Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Post-UTME.
- An admission letter confirming your enrollment in a Federal University.
- Three reference letters from individuals of reputable standing, such as religious leaders, mentors, teachers, or guidance counsellors.
- A valid means of Identification (e.g., National ID Card, Student ID Card).
