Generous scholarships for exceptionally talented students

Scholarships are available for outstanding students joining the Newton A-level Programme.

Over £170,000 has been awarded to Newton A-level Programme students in scholarships

Eligibility Criteria

  • To be eligible for a Newton A-level Programme scholarship you must first apply for the programme and receive an offer.
  • Once you have received an offer for the programme you may contact your local representative or INTO University of East Anglia directly to start the process.
  • All scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, taking into consideration high school grades, English language level, online maths test results, and an interview.

Offered Benefits

Financial help for Newton A-level Programme students

Newton Scholars

Top A and A* grade students may be eligible to become a Newton Scholar and receive up to 50% tuition scholarship.

Other students can apply for a scholarship worth up to 20% of tuition fees, which may increase in their second year based on their AS-level exam results.

Newton Science progression scholarships

Every Newton A-level Programme student successfully progressing to the Faculty of Science at the University of East Anglia will receive a 20% tuition fee scholarship for each year of study.

Please note that Medicine is not part of the Faculty of Science, therefore students progressing to Medicine are not eligible to receive this award.

Newton Medicine progression scholarship

The top Newton A-level Student successfully progressing to Medicine at the University of East Anglia will receive a £5,000 tuition fee scholarship for their first year at the University of East Anglia.
