Newcastle University Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarships in UK for Master Founded in 1963, Newcastle University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Newcastle upon Tyne (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), North East England. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Newcastle University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Newcastle University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 56 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All countries except Canada, China, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, the USA, Vietnam, Mexico, Central America*, South America**, and any member state of the European Union.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is open to candidates applying for any eligible Master’s degree program at Newcastle University’s Newcastle city centre campus.
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must be assessed as international for fee purposes, hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree program, and have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second-class UK honors degree or above. Central America – Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama **South America – Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela
