Newcastle University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, Newcastle University is pleased to offer scholarships for postgraduate masters’ degree programmes. International students can apply for these scholarships.

Newcastle University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Scholarships for Master Founded in 1963, Newcastle University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Newcastle upon Tyne (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), North East England. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Newcastle University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Newcastle University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 56 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for scholarship applicants must:

  • be classed as international/overseas for fees purposes
  • hold an offer to study on one of our postgraduate Masters’ courses
  • hold a higher second-class honours degree (2:1 or equivalent) from a UK or International University*
  • have an IELTS score of at least 7.0

*Applicants who do not hold an upper-second-class honours degree at the time of their scholarship application may be selected for a scholarship subject to their final results.

Offered Benefits

Scholarships has a value of £2,000 tuition fee scholarships.

Please complete and submit an Architecture, Planning and Landscape International Scholarship Application Form (MS Word 24.5KB) to caroline.armstrong1-at-ncl.ac.uk  by 5pm on Friday July 30, 2017.
