The founding statement pursued by Seoul Institute of the Arts to nurture Korea’s greatest artists is as follows:

We shall nurture emerging artists through production of original work and specialized training to creatively pursue new art forms and gain independent identity and globalization. The truth and beauty these artists realize will ultimately contribute to our country's culture and furthermore to the world’s culture.”

Eligibility Criteria

Based on entrance test scores and TOPIK level.

Based on entrance test scores:
  • 1st place : 100% of Tuition
  • 2nd place : 75% of Tuition
  • 3rd place : 50% of Tuition

OR
TOPIK level 4 or higher: KRW 1,000,000.
If you fulfill both criteria, you will be granted the highest amount.
