Are you a postdoctoral researcher looking to expand your network and collaborate across disciplines? Apply for the Network Grant 2024! Forte is offering up to SEK 450,000 over three years to support interdisciplinary projects.

To be eligible for the Grant, applicants must have completed a doctoral degree by the call’s closing date and be affiliated with an organisation approved by Forte as an administrating entity. The grant encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, so researchers from various fields and career stages are welcome to apply.Forte is a Swedish research council dedicated to funding and promoting research in the fields of health, working life, and welfare. It supports interdisciplinary and innovative research projects that address critical societal challenges. Forte also facilitates collaborations between researchers, policy-makers, and practitioners to ensure that research findings are utilized effectively.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to researchers worldwide.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to researchers working within Forte’s fields of research or coordination areas, specifically encouraging interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary collaborations.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Completed a doctoral degree before the call closing date.
    • Affiliated with an organisation approved as an administrating organisation by Forte.
    • Only one application per network coordinator/project manager is allowed.

Offered Benefits

  • The total grant limit is SEK 450,000 for a three-year period, with a total of SEK 7 million reserved for the funding period 2025–2027.
  • This grant supports networking and collaboration between researchers from different disciplines and regions, promoting the application and implementation of research within Forte’s key focus areas.

  • Applications are to be submitted electronically via Prisma. The call for proposals can be found under the tab “Applications and Grants.”
  • The application process includes submitting necessary attachments and adhering to Forte’s guidelines. The call closes on 17 October 2024 at 14:00.
