A major objective of the Neporany Fellowship Program has been to provide opportunities for recent graduates to establish their academic credentials whether through support of research leading to publication or by way of teaching appointments. More recently, the Fellowship has been made available also to doctoral students completing their dissertations.

The amount of the award can range from $5,000 to $20,000

Application Process

To apply,

ALL APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING:

  1. A cover letter to include a mailing address, citizenship or residency status (if residing in Canada), telephone number(s), and e-mail
  2. A current CV and transcripts
  3. A précis of their thesis (1,250-2,500 words)
  4. Publications
  5. Two letters of recommendation, including one from their thesis advisor
  6. Information on awards received or applied for.
