The NAWIC Guam Chapter is offering $1,000 scholarships for women pursuing careers in construction. Apply by May 31, 2025, if you’re a full-time student at UOG, GCC, or GCA Trades Academy.
The study program is designed to support women pursuing careers in construction-related fields. This year, the program offers a $1,000 scholarship to three eligible students who are pursuing advanced degrees or certifications in architecture, engineering, construction management, construction technology, or related fields.
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Guam Chapter is dedicated to empowering and advancing women in the construction industry. Through professional development, networking opportunities, and educational programs, the chapter supports women in various construction-related roles. NAWIC Guam also promotes community involvement and advocacy, encouraging diversity and leadership within the industry.
University of Guam Information
Founded in 1952, University of Guam is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the medium-sized town of Mangilao (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, University of Guam (UOG) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Guam (UOG) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study.
