In celebration of the 125th anniversary of the University in 2009, a new scheme of scholarships and bursaries was launched, which has since been renewed.
The programme is open to both UK/EU and overseas students.

A Bangor University Anniversary Research Scholarship provides support for 3 years of full time PhD study at Bangor University. The studentships cover all fees for three years and provide an annual stipend and an annual research allowance.
