Mukul Madhav Foundation Scholarship in UK for Master


The University College London (UCL) is inviting talented students to apply for the Mukul Madhav Foundation Scholarship. The award is open for the academic session 2025/2026.

Applicants must be Indian nationals ordinarily resident in India and classified as Overseas fee-paying students. They must have submitted a complete application for a full-time, one-year master’s programme at UCL for the 2025/26 academic year in one of the specified courses within the Institute of Global Health or Institute of Child Health. Candidates must also hold an offer from UCL by late June 2025 and demonstrate financial need.

Mukul Madhav Foundation Scholarship in UK for Master Founded in 1826, University College London is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of London (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University College London (UCL) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 35,000-39,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University College London (UCL) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 193 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: India

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in the following eligible Master’s programmes at UCL:

    • MSc Paediatrics and Child Health: Advanced Paediatrics

    • MSc Child and Adolescent Mental Health

    • MSc Cell, Gene and Novel Therapies

    • MSc in Global Health and Development

    • MSc in Health Economics and Decision Science

    • MSc in Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

    • Be ordinarily resident in India and eligible to pay Overseas fee rates.

    • Have submitted a complete admission application (including references) for a full-time, one-year eligible Master’s programme at UCL for 2025/26.

    • Be in receipt of an offer from UCL by the scholarship decision date in late June 2025.

    • Be attending UCL in person (distance-learning is not eligible).

    • Demonstrate financial need.

Offered Benefits

  • Covers full tuition fees for the duration of the one-year Master’s programme.

  • The scholarship is tenable for one year only.

  • It may be held alongside other funding sources, subject to the total value of combined awards.

  • Awardees are required to notify the UCL Student Funding Office of any additional scholarships or financial aid received.

  • Selection is based on financial need and recommendation by the UCL Student Funding Office.
