MSc in Dependable Software Systems for Master


The Erasmus Mundus MSc in Dependable Software Systems offers students the chance to study at Maynooth University in Ireland, University of St Andrews in Scotland or University of Lorraine in France on a double master’s programme, obtaining a double MSc at the end of two years. Tuition is through the English Language.

This course was awarded the Best New Postgraduate Course in Ireland 2013. Applicants who are on target for a high honours degree (2.1 or higher) have a strong chance of obtaining one of the many scholarships available. Scholarships to a maximum €47,000 per student per programme are available to eligible applicants. More information is available at www.erasmusmundus.ie

Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria must be fulfilled by students applying for the Erasmus Mundus MSc in Dependable Software Systems:

An honours degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with an average grade of 60% (equivalent to a B, II.1, or assez bien) or above. Extensive industrial experience may be considered as equivalent to academic qualification although such applicants will normally be subject to interview by the consortium. English-Language certificate (for non-native speakers of English only). Since the language of instruction is primarily English, students whose first language is not English must provide proof of a minimum knowledge of English such as an IELTS certificate or equivalent obtained in the last two years. An IELTS score of 6.5 or higher is required with a minimum of 5.5 in each indvidual component of the test.

Offered Benefits

Non EU students receive €9,000 per year towards fees, upto €3,000 per year for travel, €500 per year for relocation and €1,000 per month living expenses. EU students receive €4,500 per year towards fees, €1,000 per year for travel and €1,000 per month living allowance.More information on scholarshps is available at www.erasmusmundus.ie
