MPhil or PhD Scholarship in Mathematical and Numerical Models of Piezoelectric Wave Energy Converters Founded in 1989, Queensland University of Technology is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Brisbane (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Queensland. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Australian, New Zealand, and International
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by Queensland University of Technology.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Enroll as a full-time, internal student
    • Commence the degree by 30 March 2025
    • Have completed a research master’s degree, coursework master’s degree with a significant research component, first-class honours level undergraduate degree or equivalent, in applied mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline
    • Have experience writing numerical software in a relevant language (e.g., MATLAB, Julia, Python, or C) and modeling phenomena in fluid or solid mechanics (or both).

Offered Benefits

The scholars will receive a stipend scholarship of $32,192 per annum for a maximum duration of 3 years while undertaking a QUT PhD (1.75 years for MPhil). This is the full-time, tax-exempt rate.
