Meiji University Special Grant for International Students in Japan for Bachelor Established in 1881, Meiji University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Tokyo (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Kanagawa. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan, Meiji University is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Meiji University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Undergraduate degree in any subject offered by the university

Offered Benefits

The successful students will be subsidized for either 50% or 100% of their tuition fees at Meiji University.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: If you are interested to start your higher studies in Japan, then go ahead and take admission in an undergraduate degree program at the university.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Motivation letter
  • Transcripts
  • CV
  • Personal statement of purpose
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission, candidates must have high school certificates with good academic record.
  • Language Requirement: Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.
