Established in 1981 by the Canadian Engineering and Contracting Co. Limited in honour of its founder. To be awarded to a student enrolled in Level 3 of the Civil Engineering program, or Level 4 of the Civil Engineering and Management program. Award is based on scholarship Fall-Winter Average of at least 9.5 and evidence of leadership, self-motivation, and practical aptitude appropriate for a future in the construction industry.

McMaster University F. W. Paulin Scholarship 2025 for Bachelor Established in 1887, McMaster University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Hamilton (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Ontario. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Ontario, McMaster University (Mac) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. McMaster University (Mac) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 132 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be academic level 3 or 4.
  • Applicant must be an undergraduate.
  • This award is specific to students in the Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering and Management programs.
  • This award is not second degree eligible.
  • Applicant must be enrolled.
  • Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
  • Applicant must be a current student.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 18 graded units in the current year.
  • Applicant must have a minimum 9.5 sessional average.
  • Applicant must be eligible for in-course awards (Graduating students are not eligible).
