Students from France are eligible candidates for participation. Exceptional academic records with an innovative research project of the applicants will be the basis for deciding the winner.   • The applicants must be pursuing (or intending to pursue) a Cotutelle between McGill and a French university. 
  • The applicants must have an exceptional academic record with an innovative research project. 
  • The applicants must be with French citizenship. 

Offered Benefits

McGill University will extend a generous funding package to the winning candidates, i.e. $50,000 per year, for up to two years.

  • How to Apply:  The applicants must apply for admission at McGill University online via its  university portal . 
  • Supporting Documents:  The students are required to present the following documents to the university:

  • Two letters of reference 
  • Statement of purpose 
  • Writing sample
  • CV/Resume
  • Admission Requirements:  The applicants must hold an academic qualification, typically a master’s degree, in a field relevant to the study they want to undertake at McGill. 
  • Language Requirement:  The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL IBT – 60  
  • IELTS – 6.5
