Creighton University is currently looking for international students to apply for its Matteo Ricci, S.J. Awards programme in the USA for the academic year 2022-2023.

All international students are welcome to take up an undergraduate or graduate programme of choice at Creighton by applying for the scholarships offered. Tuition fee coverage can be expected out of the scholarship award.

International Scholarships, USA for Bachelor Established in 1878, Creighton University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Omaha (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Nebraska. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Learning Commission, Creighton University (CU) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 9,000-9,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. This 141 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 60-70% making this US higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Offered Benefits

The selected international applicants will be presented scholarships towards the tuition fee of any undertaken undergraduate or graduate programme at Creighton.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Students can use the Common Application of the University’s application portal to apply at Creighton. Applications made by the deadline will be reviewed for scholarship allocation.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Counselor or teacher evaluation/recommendation
  • Official high school transcripts
  • Certified translation of all high school transcripts
  • Official university transcripts for transfer students
  • Certified translation of all university transcripts
  • Certification of Available Finances, including official bank letters, statements of support, and bank statements
  • Certificates, diplomas, or examination results marking the completion of secondary education or preparation for higher education
  • Admission Requirements: Students must submit all necessary documents and may also be required to present SAT or ACT scores to secure a seat.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL – 67 to 88
  • IELTS – 5.5 to 6.5
  • PTE – 49 to 58
  • Duolingo – 48 to 60
