Requirements for MasterCard Foundation/KNUST Undergraduate Scholarship

  1. All Applicants must have a WASSCE or GBCE or ABCE or GCE O’Level and A’Level or their equivalent Results from an accredited/recognized institution and Certificate Ready and must meet KNUST’s Admission Requirements. NO AWAITING RESULTS candidate will be accepted. Applicant’s result must be at least a year old.
  2. The Applicant must demonstrate that he/she has Critical Economic Needs.
  3. The Applicant must have Proven Records of Leadership and Community Engagement(s).
  4. The Applicant must be prepared to Go-Back and Give-Back to his or her Community.
  5. The Applicant must not be enrolled in any tertiary institution.

Priority shall be given to;

  • Females
  • Displaced Persons (Certified Refugees, Internally Displaced Persons, etc.)
  • Persons with Disability

Application Documents

When submitting your scholarship application form to the Secretariat, submit these additional documents;

  • The printout of your application for admission at KNUST.
  • Original Certificates for both O’Level and A’Level results or their equivalent results

MasterCard Foundation 2025 Scholars Program at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology for Bachelor Founded in 1951, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Kumasi (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Ashanti. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Sunyani, Accra. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana (National Accreditation Board, Ghana), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
