All eligible students are guaranteed a scholarship for their long-term program in Israel. The amount of the scholarship depends on the student's age, country of origin, and financial background.
Students can apply for a MASA scholarship by completing the application on the MASA website. Upon completion of the application, a PDF file of the application will be sent to you via e-mail. You will need to print the completed application, sign it, and then return the scholarship application to the International School at the University of Haifa. The International School will then confirm your acceptance to the program and send the application to the Jewish Agency. In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must have already completed your application to the International School at the University of Haifa and been accepted. You are welcome to submit your MASA scholarship application to the University of Haifa at the same time as your application for admission.
MASA applications must be received by the MASA office no less than 60 days before the start of the program. Because applications must first be sent to the International School, students should plan to have their application received in Haifa no later than 70 days before the start of the program. All students who receive a scholarship from MASA are required to study Hebrew and participate in the Volunteer Program as well as social activities.
