Masa Israel works to make it as easy as possible for Jewish young adults to go to Israel. We offer grants and/or scholarships to help make the experience more affordable, and collect information about other grants and scholarships available for long-term Israel programs from third party organizations.
North America
Eligible gap year participants ages 18-20 will receive $500 grant toward the cost of their program. Study abroad participants automatically receive $1,000 toward tuition, and eligible participants over the age of 21 automatically receive $2,400 - $4,500 (depending on the length and cost of your program). Masa Israel also offers eligible participants up to $3,000 in additional needs-based scholarships. Former Soviet Union (FSU) Masa participants from the Former Soviet Union are eligible to apply for universal grants in the amount of up to $10,000 (depending on the length of your program). Argentina; Venezuela Masa participants from Argentina and Venezuela are eligible to apply for universal grants in the amount of up to $9,500 (depending on the length of your program). Other countries Eligible gap year participants ages 18-20 will receive a $500 grant toward the cost of their program. Study abroad participants automatically receive $1,000 toward tuition, and eligible participants over the age of 21 automatically receive $2,400 - $4,500 (depending on the length and cost of your program). Masa Israel also offers eligible participants needs-based scholarships of up to $10,000 (including the universal grant and depending on the length of your program).
Please note that you will receive either the Grant OR the Needs-based scholarship but not both.
