The Martin Schmeißer Foundation at TU Dortmund University invites applications for scholarships supporting short-term stays abroad for final theses. Open to Bachelor’s and Master’s students, the scholarship offers up to €1,500 for projects requiring at least a two-month stay outside Germany.
To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must be enrolled at TU Dortmund University in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program. Their final thesis must require a stay abroad of at least two months. Applicants must provide a project description, confirmation from a host institution, an endorsement from their supervising professor, and academic records. Double funding from other sources is not permitted.

Project description (max. 3 pages) outlining purpose, location, duration, topic, and cost estimate (excluding living expenses)
Letter of endorsement from the supervising professor confirming the necessity of the international stay
Confirmation from the host institution that academic work can be carried out there
Curriculum vitae, school leaving certificate, and academic transcript
