The international Elite Master Programme Advanced Materials and Processes at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany provides 4 full scholarships for one year. The teaching language of the progamme is English.

German Engineering at ist best: The international Master programme Advanced Materials and Processes offers talented students an interdisciplinary Master´s degree programme with international orientation. The programme focuses on the transfer of engineering insight to materials development and process engineering.It is a collaboration of the universities of Erlangen-Nürnberg, Bayreuth and Würzburg, funded by the Bavarian Elite Network.The goal of this Network is to support especially talented students. The two-year Master´s programme benefits from the close collaboration of the cooperating universities, other universities, organizations and scientific groups. The research element of the programme is very high and already begins in the second semester when students are linked to one or two research groups.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are required to have a bachelor degree in Chemistry and Bio Engineering, Materials Science or related subjects.
The overall degree should be 1,9 or better.
Degrees with another grading system need to have been graded with a mark equivalent to “good”.
Diplom students can be admitted to MAP after a successful pre-diplom plus to additional semesters
Applicants should belong to the best****10-15% of their year.

Since MAP is an international study program and all lectures are held in English, very good English knowledge is a application requirement as well.
