University College Venlo (UCV) offers five scholarships for pursing bachelor’s degree programme. Students of EU/EEA-countries can apply for these scholarships.
Scholarships are intended for talented students from outside the EU/EEA, who are admissible to the UCV. Furthermore, these students are dependent on financial support to be able to study abroad.
Campus Venlo is a Satellite Campus of Maastricht University located in Venlo, approximately 80 km north of Maastricht.
Each year applicants obtain at least 50 of the 60 ECTS (study points).

Founded in 1976, Universiteit Maastricht (Maastricht University) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Maastricht (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Limburg. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap, Nederland (Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Netherlands), Universiteit Maastricht (UM) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universiteit Maastricht (UM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 43 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
Offered Benefits
Applicants will receive the grant for the duration of the bachelor’s programme, but at most three years. The grant is awarded per year. To be eligible for the grant in the next year you must satisfy several conditions:
- They satisfy the UCV admission requirements
- Each year you obtain at least 45 of the 60 ECTS (credits)
- Your average grade is at least 7
- You have a Dutch health insurance
