The Lundbeck Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the LF Postdocs 2026 program. This prestigious fellowship supports outstanding early-career scientists in neuroscience or related fields with potential to advance understanding and treatment of nervous system disorders. With funding of up to DKK 3 million over three years, the program aims to strengthen Denmark’s leadership in neuroscience and foster international research collaborations.
Eligibility for the position requires applicants to hold a PhD (or be close to completing one within six months of the deadline) and to have obtained it within the past five years, with allowances for career breaks. Candidates must propose a project involving a change in research environment—either Danish-based researchers conducting 18–36 months abroad with a plan to return, or international researchers moving to Denmark for the project.
The Lundbeck Foundation is one of Denmark’s largest private foundations, dedicated to creating strong impacts in health, research, and education. With a special focus on neuroscience, the Foundation funds pioneering research that advances the understanding, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of brain disorders. Beyond research funding, it also supports talent development across all career stages, ensuring Denmark remains at the forefront of biomedical and health sciences.
