Eligibility Criteria

You may be eligible for the award if you have a full undergraduate degree from a previous and separate programme at the University of Hull (includes ‘top-up’ degree awards). Students with University of Hull validated degrees are not eligible.

The award is available for postgraduate taught masters degree programmes – for example; MA; MSc; MRes within the Business School (excludes postgraduate certificates/diplomas; PGCE, MA Social Work*, Masters Foundation programmes and Distance Taught provision).

You must be self-financing for all, or an element, of the tuition fee for your programme. The award is available to part-time students (pro-rata).

* The Loyalty Scholarship is available to MA Social Work students who are fully self financing their tuition fee

Offered Benefits

For progression to eligible PGT programmes in the Faculties of Science and Engineering, Arts and Social Sciences, Education and Health and Social Care:

  • Home/EU graduates with a first class degree a £1,000 fee discount is available
  • Home/EU graduates (2:1 or below) a £500 fee discount is available
  • International graduates with a first class degree a £3,000 fee discount is available*
  • International graduates (2:1 or below) a £2,500 fee discount is available*

For progression to MSc (PGT) programmes in the Business School:

  • Home/EU/International graduates with a first class degree a £3,000 fee discount is available*
  • Home/EU/International graduates with a 2:1 degree a £2,500 fee discount is available*
  • Home/EU/International graduates with a 2:2 degree a £2,000 fee discount is available*

For progression to the MRes (PGT) programme in the Business School:

  • Home/EU graduates with a first class degree a £1,000 fee discount is available
  • Home/EU graduates (2:1 or below) a £500 fee discount is available
  • International graduates with a first class degree a £3,000 discount is available*
  • International graduates with a 2:1 degree a £2,500 fee discount is available*
  • International graduates with a 2:2 degree a £2,000 fee discount is available*

* The Loyalty Scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with the standard International fee discount.
