Long Blue Line Awards for International Students at Marietta College, United States Founded in 1835, Marietta College is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium-sized town of Marietta (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Ohio. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Learning Commission, Marietta College is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Marietta College offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 184 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 60-70% making this US higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To being enlisted in the programme, students have to enrol in the undergraduate degree programme at the university.
  • Supporting Documents: Secondary school transcript, mark sheets, or certificate, official financial statement, a copy of the identification page of your passport.
  • Admission Requirements: Aspirants must have a high school certificate with remarkable results.
  • Language Requirement: Applicants have to meet the following English language requirements:
  • Students must meet the minimum of a 53 on the TOEFL
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Band 5.5 or higher and at least a 5.0 in all sub-areas. Students who intend to enrol in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Athletic Training, or one of the majors in our Education program must have an IELTS band score of 6.0 or higher to be considered for admission.
  • Cambridge Proficiency Examination (CPE): Grade C or Higher; or Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): Grade B or higher; or First Certificate Exam (FCE): Grade A.
