Lingnan University offers various scholarships to support high-calibre non-local students to pursue full-time UGC-funded (Government-funded) undergraduate studies at the University. Successful applicants will be awarded one of the following scholarships:
- Full Scholarship (covering tuition, hostel and partial academic and living expenses)
- Half Scholarship
- Full-tuition Scholarship
- Half-tuition Scholarship
Each Scholarship is offered on an annual renewable basis and is tenable for a period of up to the normative duration of study, subject to continued outstanding academic performance.
The Scholarship will be awarded subject to availability, successful applicants in Early Round will be notified from January. As such, applicants are encouraged to make their applications as early as possible.
Applicants for self-financed undergraduate programmes are not eligible for scholarships.

Founded in 1967, Lingnan University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the metropolis of Hong Kong (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Education Bureau, Hong Kong SAR, Lingnan University (LU) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Nondenominational religion. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Lingnan University Non-local Student Scholarships, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants for undergraduate studies
- Applicants must be ready for full-time program
- Applicants must have proof of English Language proficiency.
- Applicants who has good academic standing and a good track record in community services
