Leadership & Service Scholarship at Burman University 2025-2026 for Bachelor Founded in 1907, Burman University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the medium-sized town of Lacombe (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Alberta. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Alberta, Burman University (BU) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 250-499 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Adventist religion. Burman University (BU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • You must have initial admission to Burman University prior to applying for this scholarship.
  • You must be a Canadian citizen or have previously attended a Canadian or USA based high school or post-secondary institution. Please see Burman's website for exceptions.
  • This is a non-renewable award, but there is the opportunity to apply for continuing leadership and service scholarships following your first year at Burman.
  • References are required to verify any claims of service or leadership.
  • Students must register for and complete a minimum of 12 credits per term for each fall and winter semester to claim this scholarship. 
  • Applications and references are reviewed by a committee to determine the final scholarship amount.
