Latin American and Caribbean Scholarships at New College of Florida, USA for Bachelor Founded in 1960, New College of Florida is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Sarasota (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Florida. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, New College of Florida (NCF) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 500-999 students) coeducational higher education institution. New College of Florida (NCF) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 59 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this US higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Offered Benefits

The students selected by the New College of Florida for this scholarship will be awarded $80,000 ($20,000 per year for up to 4 years) towards the cost of their undertaken study programme.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Students can apply via the New College Application Portal or via the Common Application portal. All eligible students will be considered automatically.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to provide official transcripts (One from each school attended, from high school through college), Credential Evaluation and Translation and a recommendation letter, which is optional.
  • Admission Requirements: Students must submit all necessary documents by the designated deadline.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL IBT – 83
  • TOEFL PBT – 560
  • IELTS – 6.5
