Land We Love 2019 Scholarship

One of Land We Love's highest priorities is providing education to Jamaican youth in need. We believe that starting Jamaican citizens' lives with fundamental, basic education will provide them with both knowledge and motivational ethics to create a stronger Jamaica for all in the future.

Every year, Land We Love will be giving away scholarships to both Canadian and Jamaican students that best exhibit ideals of perseverance, dedication, and yearning for education.

Eligibility Criteria

50 students from Jamaica are eligible to win $500 USD in scholarship funds. These funds can go towards any tertiary fees that might occur as a result of your schooling (including tuition, housing, etc.) Please see official entry rules to apply, only one contest admission per applicant is allowed.

Offered Benefits

Students will receive $500 to be distributed towards their tertiary fees of choice, as well as receive an invitation to a Land We Love Scholarship Banquet in 2020. This banquet will be a chance for winning students to network with each other, esteemed guests, and the Land We Love founders.

Application Process

Please see official entry rules to apply, only one contest admission per applicant is allowed.

  • Entrants must follow Land We Love on all three of its social platforms, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Entrants must send a 30-60 second long video detailing why they believe they should win the scholarship. These videos should detail their academic goals, any hardships they’ve faced, and how this scholarship will help them.
  • Entrants must send a copy of their latest school grades. Grades must be in an acceptable range to be considered for this scholarship.

All entries must be sent to info@landwe.love with a valid email address, as this is how we will contact you.

Only entrants who follow all of these guidelines will receive entry into the scholarship contest.
