Eligible fields include civil engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, agriculture, environment, energy, and development economics.The Kubota Yutaka Public Trust Fund, established in 1984 by the late Yutaka Kubota, aims to support the development of industrial technologies in less developed countries. Kubota, the founder of Nippon Koei Co., Ltd., initiated this fund with his personal resources to provide financial assistance for education and training to potential leaders from developing nations, particularly in fields such as civil engineering, electrical engineering, agriculture, and environmental studies.
