To provide a funding source to international students undertaking their higher studies in Australia, the University of Melbourne has organized the KPMG Michael Andrew Scholarship for the academic year 2025-2026.
To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents who have completed Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate in Australia. They must be enrolling in the Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne and have applied through the VTAC Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) under Category 1 (Personal Information and Location) and Category 2 (Disadvantaged Financial Background).

Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible Countries: Australia and New Zealand
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is available for students enrolling in a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne.
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold an Australian permanent visa.
- Have completed Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate in Australia.
- Not have undertaken any tertiary subjects (excluding extension program subjects).
- Have applied for the University of Melbourne’s Bachelor of Commerce via the VTAC Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) under:
- Category 1 (Personal Information and Location)
- Category 2 (Disadvantaged Financial Background)
- And any other applicable categories based on personal circumstances.
- Meet the Access Melbourne entry requirements for the Bachelor of Commerce.
Selection is based on the highest-ranking applicant(s) through the VTAC Access Melbourne scholarships selection process. In case of a tie, additional or fewer scholarships may be awarded.
Application Process
No separate application is required. Eligible students are automatically considered if they have applied for admission to the University of Melbourne Bachelor of Commerce for the award year.
